Each spring the Kalamazoo Humane Society has a Dog Walk. This year I had the privilege of offering dog photography sessions as prizes for those who raised the most for this worthy cause. The grand prize winner was Yvonne. We did a session at her house a few weeks ago with her family and two dogs Luke & Ruca. I had a blast getting to know this family. Yvonne has passion for saving and finding homes for dogs and cats. She volunteers at the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue. Here are a few of my favorite images.

Jen & Paul were married at Gracespring Bible Church with a Reception at Heritage Glen Gulf Club on August 27th. They saw each other for the first time at the Gilmore Car Museum. We were privileged to be part of the beginning of their life together and enjoyed spending time with their family and friends. Their love for each other was visible in every aspect of the day, enjoy!

Mandee & Joe were married at The Lawton Heritage Community Center on August 20th. It was a rainy day but the weather cleared and the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. Mandee & Joe were joyful and fun and their wedding party and guests knew how to celebrate! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day, enjoy!

Meghan & Joe were married at Kalamazoo Country Club on August 14th. There are so many wonderful memories from this wedding. When Meghan came across the lawn with her dad to walk down the isle a little girl gasped and said “It’s Snow White!” There were a lot of joyful tears throughout the day. This wedding made me want to shout – I love what I do!!! It was a pleasure meeting the family and friends involved in this special day. Here are a few of my favorite images, enjoy!

I met Mary & Nick in Kalamazoo a few weeks ago for their engagement session. We explored some great spots in downtown and then ended at one of their favorite places Water Street Coffee. I looooove their engagement story! Nick’s family has farmed for generations so he took Mary to see the biggest tree on the farm where his parents and grandparents have carved their initials in the trunk. He and Mary carved their initials in that day. Afterwards Mary turned to look at Nick and he was down on one knee! Mary & Nick you are so down to earth and fun, we can’t wait for your wedding this November. Here are a few of my favorite images.

Melinda & Dustin were married on Labor Day weekend. They saw see each other for the first time on the grounds of her dad’s beautiful home. Absolutely perfect day all around. Congrats Melinda & Dustin!
Dana & Chad were married at Dexter United Methodist Church with a reception at Chelsea Village Conference Center on July 16th. You may remember this couple’s engagement session with Dana’s horse. I knew after spending a few hours with them that their wedding day was going to be fantastic! We had a blast being part of this couple’s special day. My favorite part was the dancing at the reception & the photo booth. Everyone at the wedding was full of spunk & fun, a dream to photograph!
