I had the pleasure of traveling to New Mexico with my mom & dad, and aunt on my birthday in January. We went to visit my cousin Laura and her family and their newest addition – baby Cael. The mountains were beautiful, and rosemary is like a shrub there! We had a blast spending time together. Here are my favorite images and a slideshow of them all.

A few days ago the Althoff Family came by for a fun birthday photo session celebrating a fourth birthday and first birthday. We had a blast – played with bubbles, read books, ate cupcakes and played dress up.

Lucy turned three today. It was a great party full of laughter and cute kids! Dave made her a chalkboard out of an old window, Lucy approved:) Seeing the joy on the faces of six little girls definitely put a smile on my face. Enjoy!
Dave and I love making Christmas gifts for our family. I have many fond memories of fashion shows my cousin and I would put on when we visited our grandparents. There was a big box full of dresses, and a dresser drawer full of jewelry and shoes for us to parade around in:) So, this year we made dress up boxes for each pair of nieces. I had more fun getting costumes, feather boas, clip on earings, tiaras… I think I might have had more fun putting it all together than the girls will have dressing up! The boxes were a hit, and the girls wasted no time trying out the goods.

Introducing the cutest baby boy I’ve met this year – Jake! His mom Laura is owner of NV Salon in Portage and does an amazing job on my hair:) She’s got a crazy busy schedule, but we were able to take some time one fall afternoon to take some great baby and family shots. I hate to say it, but dad definitely got the best smiles from Jake:) Here are my favorite images and a slide show of them all. They also have an adorable dog Toby, a session of him is to come.

About a month ago one of my great friends & her family met me at Brook Lodge in Galesburg for a fun family session.
